You may have noticed that Andy, Mark and Matt were ‘out of office’ for a couple of weeks this month. That’s because they headed over to the USA to meet up with Stephens Truck to discuss, demonstrate and promote our global selling Fire Cloak Electric Vehicle Fire Blanket.
While they were there, they also worked alongside all the team at Stephens Truck to officially launch the Fire Cloak USA arm. And their visit was a huge success for a variety of different reasons. Over to Matt Butcher…
“Our first stop was Oklahoma and one of our key tasks was to take everyone at Stephens Truck through the deployment of the Fire Cloak. We used one of our blankets and shot a quick video showing how easy it is for just two people to pull the Fire Cloak over an electric vehicle that they suspect might be on fire. We talked about how the blanket is specifically designed to starve a fire of oxygen and its benefits of mitigating any collateral damage to surrounding vehicles and property once deployed allowing valuable time for professional firefighters to attend.

“We then had the opportunity to demonstrate the properties of our product to over 200 US Fire Chiefs in Edmond, Tulsa. And to say the demonstration was a success would be an understatement! Each person who attended was seriously impressed with how the Fire Cloak suppressed the blazing electric vehicle and we had numerous conversations with interested parties following the event.”
